On view at COMPANION
public

COMPANION is proud to present an exhibition of works in painting, collage, ceramics, textiles, and printmaking, originally curated for the 2024 Indiana Global Economic Summit, now open to the public on view at COMPANION. Winding Accord features six contemporary, Indiana-based artists: Su A Chae, Stephen Creech, Mailinh Hồ, Hannah Paz-Westbrook, Israel Solomon, and Julie W. Tourtillotte. Presented together for the first time, the artists’ distinct practices address labor, individual and collective identities, evolving ecologies, and new technologies. Their traditional art forms set a familiar stage for embracing far more curious and experimental explorations. In their own way, each artist harnesses the transitory nature of convention and course. Collectively, they illuminate the precarious, bountiful, and humbling pursuit of future harmonies.

Curated by Braydee Euliss of COMPANION and presented in partnership with
GANGGANG.
